BR Heimat
Radio publique bavaroise centrée sur la Volksmusik, la Blasmusik et la culture régionale.
Salsa established itself as a name and a musical scene in New York during the 1960s and 1970s, mainly among Puerto Rican, Cuban and Latin Caribbean communities. It relies largely on Cuban son, son montuno, mambo, guaracha and other Afro-Cuban forms, but it also incorporated Puerto Rican, jazz and North American influences. Piano, bass, brass, congas, bongos, timbales, claves and call-and-response choruses frequently make up the ensemble. Salsa later developed according to traditions specific to Puerto Rico, Cuba, Colombia, Venezuela and other countries. It remains an international dance music, sustained by orchestras, clubs, schools and festivals.
